Inkay and Malamar in the Pokemon Anime

Pokemon Go recently added Inkay and Malamar into the game, but how do you evolve Inkay into Malamar? Fortunately, it’s quite easy to do.

For those of you familiar with Inkay from either the main games or just from our other articles mentioning Inkay, you may already know the answer to this one. If you don’t have any idea what I’m talking about that’s fine too, just read on – this will be a short guide anyway so it won’t take long for you to have your very own Malamar in Pokemon Go.

How do you evolve Inkay in Pokemon Go

Inkay is always a bit of a weird one, but it’s mostly a weird one in the form of its evolution method being a bit random, rather than being particularly hard to do. In actuality, evolving Inkay is about as simple as it can get for an alternative evolution method.

To evolve Inkay in Pokemon Go, simply gather the usual 50 candy required and then hold your phone upside down before pressing the evolution button.

The professor did give some hints towards how to evolve Inkay during the Psychic Spectacular event, though if you missed the event or simply skip through quest dialogue it’s understandable you might have missed those.

Is there anything else to know?

Really, evolving Inkay into Malamar is a very simple process, in all honesty, it’s just about knowing what the process is so you can do it.
