Pokemon Go Halloween 2021 is here, and with it comes fun extras, including new Spooky bundles: the Creepy crate, Boo bundle and Pumpkin pack.

As usual with every major Pokemon Go event, they’ve thrown in some shop bundles for us to help celebrate with – though also as per usual they’re pretty damn pricey, so let’s take a look at them and see if they’re worth it to you – or anyone at all.

Pokemon Go Halloween 2021 bundles

There are three bundles coming during the event, called the Creepy Crate, Boo Bundle and Pumpkin Pack.

The Creepy Crate is our cheaper option, at 480 coins – which doesn’t feel terribly cheap for a F2P in my opinion, but it’s the lowest it goes. The Creepy crate contains the following items:

  • 50 Pokeballs
  • 1 Remote Raid Pass
  • 2 Super Incubators
  • 4 Incense

Now on to our more expensive bundles, starting with the Boo Bundle at 1480 coins. The Boo bundle will contain:

  • 16 Premium Raid Passes
  • 8 Super Incubators
  • 4 Incense
  • 4 Star Pieces

And for the latter of the more expensive bundles, we have the Pumpkin Pack, also at 1480 coins. The Pumpkin Pack includes:

  • 18 Super Incubators
  • 2 Standard Incubators
  • 4 Incense
  • 4 Star Pieces

It seems that while the discount Creepy crate is only 480 coins, given that a significant part of that value is from 50 Pokeballs, it’s a hard one to justify the cost for. The value of 2 super incubators, 4 incense and a remote raid pass comes about equal to 480 coins if we ignore the Pokeballs, but that’s hardly a promotion.

If you’re hoping for some real value during this event, you’ll need to save coins for these bigger bundles. The Boo bundle seems aimed more at PvP focused players with its premium raid passes and the Pumpkin Pack aimed more at PVE/hatching focused players.

With that said, given you still get quite a lot of incubators in the Boo bundle and the premium passes, which double as raid passes as well, it likely comes out as the best value out of these options.

That’s it for the Pokemon Go Halloween 2021 bundles.

Anything else to know?

Nope, that’s really it for this one. There isn’t much else to be said for the Halloween 2021 item bundles in Pokemon Go, short of going deep into detail on a cost analysis/comparison, which is entirely unnecessary, to be honest. Feel free to check out the rest of our Halloween coverage for Pokemon Go for other parts of the event though.
