Pokemon Go Greddy Glutton Event

As we continue the Season of Light, trainers are in for a treat with the new Greedy Gluttons Event, featuring our favorite food-loving Pokemon.

With bonuses galore, a new Shiny Pokemon debut, and a whole new 5-star Ultra Beast raid for trainers to enjoy, there’s something in store for everyone.

Greedy Gluttons Event – The details

Beginning at 10:00 am on 9th November 2022, until November 17th, 2022, the Greedy Gluttons event will see an increased spawn in some very hungry Pokemon.

Featuring timed research, players can earn themselves a whole host of rewards:

Rewards: Snorlax encounter, 1 Poffin, 7,000 XP

A new Shiny Pokemon

It’s arrived. Shiny Munchlax is making its Pokemon Go debut.

Only obtainable from 7 km eggs, players will need to send and receive gifts to their in-game friends to get their hands on the all-important eggs featuring a potential Shiny Munchlax.

Increased Spawn Rates

For the duration of the Greedy Gluttons Event, players can expect to see the following Pokemon increasing in frequency within the wild:

  • Rattata
  • Raticate
  • Golbat
  • Lickitung
  • Snorlax
  • Swinub
  • Pelipper
  • Gulpin
  • Swalot
  • Bidoof
  • Bibarel
  • Skwovet

7km Eggs – who’s hiding inside?

Players can hatch themselves the following Pokemon during the Greedy Gluttons Event:

  • Cherubi
  • Gible
  • Munchlax

Guzzlord debut

Guzzlord, the Junkivore Pokemon, makes its Pokemon GO debut in five-star raids from Tuesday, November 8, 2022, to Wednesday, November 23, 2022, whilst also being the feature of the raid hours on Wednesday 9th November 2022, 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and on Wednesday 16th November, 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm local time.

Pokemon Go Egg Hatching Bonus

Last but certainly not least, Pokemon Go is giving trainers something a little different for the duration of the event. Players can enable a feature to half the distance of three eggs, making it easier to obtain Shiny Munchlax.

To activate the bonus, players need to install the Pokemon Go widget onto the home screens of their mobile phones, which will unlock the feature.

The widget is available on iOS and Android devices.
