The June Community day for 2021 is Gible – as was confirmed some time ago in fact – so be sure to tie down everything you can’t afford to lose in Pokemon Go Trainers.

Gible itself may look cute to you, but make sure not to make it mad or you’ll have serious problems by the time it involves into the far more threatening Garchomp. And with the amount of Gible you can find during a Community Day, you can definitely expect a Garchomp or two to be an option for you.

When is the community day?

The Pokemon Go Gible Community Day is the 6th of June. The event itself will run from 10 AM local time to 5 PM local time, which is your usual fare for a Community Day type event.

It was a bit unusual that this Community Day was announced back before the last month feature of Swablu had even had their day yet, but its perhaps attestable to the popularity of Gible that that happened.

What can we expect from the Pokemon Go Gible Community day?

As per usual, you can expect plenty of the featured Pokemon. So lots of little land shark dragons will be all over the world for 6 hours in each place. If you manage to collect enough of them to evolve a Gible twice into Garchomp, you have the Exclusive move Earth Power to look forward to.

The event also features an exclusive special research story available for the usual community day price of $1 or regional equivalent.

On top of those bits, as always you can expect a few Photobombs from the star of the show, so you can take some pictures with Gible during the event. And if photography isn’t your thing, you can also grab a time-limited Community Day box. What’s in it, you ask?

  • 50 Ultra balls
  • 5 incense
  • 5 lucky eggs
  • and an Elite Charged TM

All this for the low low price of 1,280 Pokecoins. Actually, maybe the price isn’t that low. It’s up to you to decide if it’s worthwhile or not, however.

Is there anything else to it?

To help celebrate this Community Day, a few extra bonuses have been thrown in. You can expect the usual increased spawn rate, alongside tripled catch experience and Incense being upgraded to a duration of 3 hours per piece.

That incense boost will be excellent for finding all the Gible you could possibly want on the day too, so that’s something to take advantage of.

And if all those regular Gible you’ll be catching isn’t enough for you, take a look at the shiny form below.

As this is a Community Day all about Gible, you can expect to see a fair few of these around mixed in the hundreds you’ll be catching. Oh and here’s a fun fact for you you might not have known, the fin on the back of Gible’s head varies by gender.

As you may expect, between the amount of Gible you’ll see during the event you’d find a few Shiny ones anyway, but the event also features a shiny chance boost for Gible, so you really will have plenty of chances to collect your own on this Community Day.
