It’s that time again trainers, a new month is fast approaching and that means only one thing, a whole new Community Day for trainers to enjoy. This time, Niantic brings us the little black and white fluff ball Zigzagoon, in the Pokemon Go Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day.
Community Days are a great way for trainers to complete challenges, encounter increased spawn rates of some of their favorite Pokemon, and even a shiny too!

When is the Pokemon Go Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day?
The Pokemon Go Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day is set to take place on Saturday, August 13th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time. Tickets will be available in the in-game store leading up to and including the day of the event for $0.99 or the local equivalent.
Who is Galarain Zigzagoon?
Galarian Zigzagoon is the star of the show of August’s Community Day, a dark/normal variant of Zigzagoon first introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Galarian Zigzagoon enjoys battling and will charge at people and other Pokémon attempting to provoke a fight. Whilst this is often successful with Pokemon, trainers are often seen to be viewing Zigzagoon as playful rather than ferocious. This little raccoon-type Pokemon is not to be underestimated!

Community Day Move: Obstruct
As well as the increased Zigzagoon spawns, challenges, and shiny opportunities, trainers will also have a chance to get a special event-exclusive move during August’s Community Day.
Any Galarian Linoone, the evolution of Zigzagoon, that you evolve into Obstagoon before 7 p.m. local time will learn the Dark-type Charged Attack Obstruct.
Community Day Bonuses
There are bonus other features for trainers to enjoy during the Glarian Zigzagoon Community Day.

Exclusive stickers will be available in gifts from other trainers, to purchase in the item shop, and by spinning stops during the event.
The day will host a special Community Day item box for only 1 coin, however, details of the contents are yet to emerge. As with previous Community Days, items are likely to include Pokeballs, berries, or even a Lure!
During the Community Day, until 2 p.m. local time, trainers will earn triple Stardust and double candy for catching Pokemon, and players who are level 31 or above will also have the increased advantage and opportunity to earn themselves XL candy.
As with most Community Days and events, incense and lure modules used by trainers during the event will last for three hours rather than their usual duration of 30 minutes. Plus there will also be bonus Galarian Linoone raids after the Community Day ends.
By defeating raids containing Galarian Linnone, Galarian Zigzagoon will spawn more frequently around the host gym for 30 minutes, giving trainers a further opportunity to try and capture a shiny!
