Pokemon Go is a big game, with a lot of things to do, but plenty of activities become easier with friends, so today I’ll cover how to find more Pokemon Go friend codes.

Naturally, you can always find more friend codes by asking people you know who play Pokemon Go, but not everyone will have that option, so we’ll touch on other methods.

Let’s take a look below at how to do so.

Pokemon Go Friend codes: How to find them

Now for those of you who don’t have the luxury of knowing other Pokemon Go players in person, it can be a particular pain getting your raids filled up when you have no one online to invite.

Members of the Pokemon Go player base have hit that problem quite a few times, at the very least frequently enough to build their own solutions to this problem. Such as websites, or popular subreddits designed purely to find raid help in Pokemon Go, friend requests, and the like.

The most successful of these that I’ve personally used is known as /r/PokemonGoFriends, a subreddit where users can request help with raids invites to raids, or simply post their in-game friend code and ask for people to add them to help out with gifts and raid invites.

You can also simply browse other people’s posts there and send your own friend codes, though that process may be slower than making a post of your own.

How can I find my own friend code?

Naturally, if you want other players to add you to their friend list in a game with a friend code system, it’s helpful to know your own friend code.

This is the case in Pokemon Go too, though finding your friend code is a very simple process. Simply press your character’s face in the bottom left corner, then press the friends button at the top of the menu that opens. All that’s left to do from there is press the “add friends” button, and you’ll be taken to a page showing your personal friend code.

Sharing this code in the likes of the PokemonGoFriends subreddit would allow users there to send friend requests, so simply making a post with your code requesting friends there is a nice start to expand your friend list.

Is there anything else?

There are a huge number of websites that can help support your search for more Pokemon Go friends via friend codes, /r/PokemonGoFriends is simply one that I use and have had the most success with.

Other services such as PoGoTrainerClub and PokemonGoFriendsCodes.com do exist and can help as well, so feel free to try those if Pokemon Go Friends doesn’t provide enough for you immediately.

The benefits of having a considerable Pokemon Go friend list are no small boost either. Daily sets of free items provided by gifts, experience based on your relationship level, more backup on raids via remote raid invites… All of that without even mentioning the 7km friend eggs or the potential benefits of a trade partner.

In any case, that’s everything you should really need to know about ways to find more Pokemon Go friend codes, and by extension more Pokemon Go friends.
