Pokemon Go Aipom Spotlight hour: Shiny Aipom available

It’s time for another Pokemon Go spotlight hour, and this time it’s all about Aipom. Read on for all of the details of the upcoming Aipom Spotlight.
And even if you’re not interested in Aipom itself, the event also features doubled capture stardust for the entire duration, which is a worthwhile bonus for just about every player in the game, given how much Stardust you need.
When is the Pokemon Go Aipom Spotlight hour?
The Aipom Spotlight hour will take place on the 29th of June at 6:00 PM local time, and runs as per usual to 7:00 PM local time. This duration also applies to the doubled stardust bonus mentioned above.
This is the usual fare for spotlight hours, short events with a specific focus is the norm here.
What can we expect from the Aipom spotlight hour?
As is expected from these events, it’ll be the usual simple affair. Spotlight hours are so named because you’ll get precisely one hour of basically nothing but the spotlighted Pokemon – in this case, Aipom, – spawning over and over for the duration.
That makes this event great for fans of Aipom. Not so much if you don’t like it however.
With that said, the doubled stardust bonus from this event is one of the best bonuses Spotlight hours ever award to players, as Stardust is something that is always in short supply and you’ll need plenty of it over the course of your Pokemon Go Journeys, Trainer.
It’d be wise to use this event to stock up on Stardust a bit regardless of your thoughts on Aipom, if you have the time.

A spotlight hour of a Pokemon is a great way to try to earn the Shiny variant if you have the time to pay attention for the duration of the event. The large numbers of the same Pokemon spawning for the entire hour give you plenty of chances of landing that rare encounter.
