Hisuian Pokemon: How to catch the new Hisuian Pokemon in Pokemon Go
Last Updated on: 28th July 2022, 02:57 pm
As we embark upon the new Hisuian Discoveries Event, three new Hisuian Pokemon have entered the game.
Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Hisuian Sneasel are making their debut in Pokemon Go, with Hisuian Braviary being added to raids on 31st July 2022. However, these Pokemon can not be encountered in the usual ways.
Let’s take a look below at everything we know about these latest additions to Pokemon Go.
The Hisuian Pokemon and where to find them
Hisuian Growlithe can only be obtained in 7km Event Eggs. The eggs can be found by spinning Pokestops or Gyms. However, as with all eggs, there is no guarantee you will hatch a Growlithe, meaning players may have to hatch several eggs before they can obtain the new Hisuian Growlithe.
Hisuian Growlithe can be evolved into Hisuian Arcanine using 50 Growlithe Candy, with no other special requirements.
Hisuian Qwilfish is available via Wild Encounters and also 7KM Event Eggs.

Hisuian Qwifish can then be evolved into Hisuian Overkwil, however, players must also win 10 Raids whilst Hisuian Qwilfish is your buddy, as well as using 50 candies to evolve. A slightly longer task to evolve Hisuian Qwilfish, but essential for trainers if they wish to complete the entry in their Pokedex.
Hisuian Sneasel can only be found in 7km Event Eggs – trainers are certainly going to have to undertake a lot of walking during this event!
Hisuian Sneasel can be evolved into Hisuian Sneasier, by walking 7KM with Sneasel as your buddy. However, this evolution also requires 100 candies.
