With the Pokemon Go Season 11 Hidden Gems upon us, trainers are in for a treat with the Pokemon Go Water Festival Beach Week.
As the Summer Season begins, it’s time to take to the beach, enjoy the Sun, and welcome some Sandy new entries to your Pokedex.

Pokemon Go Water Festival Beach Week – The Details
Beginning Tuesday, June 6, at 10:00 AM Local Time and ending Monday, June 12, at 8:00 PM Local Time, trainers have just under a week to complete the challenges ahead.
Featuring a Global Challenge and Special Research, there’s plenty to keep you busy whilst topping up the tan!
Pokemon Debuts
Sandygast, the Sand Heap Pokemon, and Palossand, the Sand Castle Pokemon, will make their Pokemon Go debuts during the Pokemon Go Water Festival Beach Week.
Sandygast can evolve into Palossand with 50 Sandygast Candy.

Global Challenge
We love a Global Challenge – especially seeing how well our fellow trainers are contributing!
The Global Challenge will take place throughout the event, with the aim to complete 300 million Nice Throws collectively. Upon completion, the following bonuses will be active until the end of the event:
- Increased Candy for Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws
- Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws

Timed Research
For US$5.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research.
Upon completion of the research, trainers will earn a surfer pose for their avatar and encounters with event-themed Pokemon!
The Timed Research expires on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time, however as with previous Timed Research challenges, they’re normally pretty straightforward to complete!
