As we continue to Season 10 Rising Heroes in Pokemon Go, we are here again with another Spotlight hour.

Taking the Spotlight Hour this week is Popplio, but what we are really interested in finding out, is if Popplio is available as a Shiny Pokemon.

Let’s take a look below at the Popplio Spotlight Hour details and find out if Shiny Popplio is up for grabs.

Popplio Spotlight Hour – the details

As with all spotlight hours, the Popplio spotlight hour will commence on Tuesday 28th March 2023, at 6 pm local time.

For just one hour, the bonus feature of the Popplio Spotlight Hour will be a 2 x Candy Bonus for catching Popplio, making it an easy way to gain plenty of Popplio candy ready, to evolve into the final evolution Primarina.

Making its debut during the Welcome to Alola challenge in March 2022, Primarina is the only starter Pokemon to date that is a fairy-type Pokemon, making it a pretty special addition to the game.

Shiny Popplio?

Unfortunately, Popplio is not available as a Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Go at present.

However, it is still worth trying to get your hand on a decent Popplio to add to the collection, as Popplio is a beast when evolved into Primarina, and will likely learn Hydro Cannon which is only available to Starter Pokemon.
