WWE 2K22 is finally here and features a star-studded roster of over 120 WWE Superstars and Legends, including the likes of The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and the NWO.

With the game originally intended to be released in 2020 as WWE 2K21, and WWE releasing almost 100 Superstars throughout 2020 and 2021, WWE 2K22 features many wrestlers who aren’t in the company anymore such as Braun Strowman, Murphy, Jeff Hardy, and Cesaro.

Throughout the Thunderdome era, no one carried the company quite like The Fiend Bray Wyatt, with him taking part in some of the best angles and matches of the time, with the ability to create cinematic moments playing into the character.

With The Fiend only being released in late-2021 it would make sense that he is playable in WWE 2K22 as typically the roster is finalized approximately six months before the finished game is released.

However, we can confirm that The Fiend is nowhere to be seen in WWE 2K22, meaning that even though the roster was already finalized, WWE and 2K went back and removed him from the game.

But, due to the extensive capabilities of WWE 2K22’s creation suite, players will be able to create their own version of The Fiend and even post it online for other players to use, his entrance preset is number 60 “Fiendish”. However, his entrance music isn’t in the game so players won’t be able to completely recreate him as if he was actually in the game.

Bray Wyatt hasn’t been seen in the wrestling industry since he was released by WWE, with many fans expecting him to show up in AEW as soon as he was able to, but he decided to go and film a movie too, hopefully, we see him back in wrestling at some point in 2022.
