WWE 2K22 has entrances for AEW stars including Kenny Omega and Britt Baker

WWE 2K22 is finally here after being delayed for many months while the development team ensured that the game would meet fans’ expectations. One of the most exciting parts of any new WWE game is creating all of your favorite Superstars who aren’t in the game, or even ones from different promotions such as AEW, Impact, Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

With moves and entrances being motion captured by real-life wrestlers, quite often these are hired from outside of WWE’s main roster, meaning that one of your favorite stars from another company may have captured the moves you’re performing in WWE 2K22.

This can often lead to some entrances and movesets being added to the files that aren’t for any current WWE Superstar, and that is the case with WWE 2K22 as there are some entrances that are for Impact and AEW stars. There are also many for past wrestlers in the company, but those are likely carried over from older titles.

As discovered by Smackdown Hotel, players are able to choose premade entrances for AEW stars Kenny Omega and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. These can be found as “Alpha Omega” for Kenny Omega, and “The Doctor Is In” from Britt Baker. Looking through the list further it looks like Sonny Kiss’ entrance is also in the game as “Dancing Superstar” and one-half of the Lucha Bros, Penta, is in the game as “Fearless” but it looks like his brother Rey Fenix isn’t included.

Other entrances from stars outside of WWE include Chris Sabin as “All Hail”, Brodie Lee as “Dark One”, Chelsea Green as “Hot Mess”, Jay Lethal as “The Machismo Is Lethal”, and Madison Rayne as “Princess”.

There are also many entrances for former WWE Superstars from WWE 2K20 and older games, including Christian, Matt Hardy, Ruby Riott, Lio Rush, and many others so it shouldn’t be too difficult to start building your own Impact or AEW roster in WWE 2K22 which could then be used in Universe to simulate your own AEW or Impact video game.
