WWE 2K22 fails to capture the number 1 spot on the sales chart
It can be recalled that the preceding game, WWE 2K20, received a negative reception from critics and fans leading to the cancellation of WWE 2K21. WWE 2K22 is, therefore, Visual Concepts’ and 2K Sports’ effort to rejuvenate the series.
However, according to the latest GfK physical sales chart, WWE 2K22 failed to hit the number 1 spot in its first week on sale in the UK.
It turned out that the latest installment’s physical sales are down 32% compared with WWE 2K20.
