WWE 2K22 cover star, box art, and The Undertaker pre-order bonuses leaked

WWE 2K22 will be the first new entry in the series since 2019’s WWE 2K20, which received negative reviews and featured a lot of glitches and issues, which caused 2K to go back to the drawing board and completely revamp the series.
Following delays last year, WWE 2K22 is now right around the corner, with the game set to be released on March 11th.
Ahead of its release, the cover art for the game has been leaked. Here is everything we know.
WWE 2K22 cover art leaked
Nils Ahrensmeier, a writer for TechnikNews, has revealed the cover art for WWE 2K22, as well as new information regarding the pre-order bonuses and extra content that will be coming to the game.
If the images are correct, it looks like Rey Mysterio will be the cover star for WWE 2K22, which could indicate that his time in WWE will soon be coming to an end, and also makes sense due to him being the first WWE Superstar to be featured in promotional material in 2021.
You can get a better look at the box art in the image below. It looks like there will be two covers depending on which version you choose, with them both featuring Rey Mysterio.
Pre-order bonuses
In addition to the box art being leaked, new information regarding the WWE 2K22 pre-order bonuses and extra content has been revealed too.
It appears that a lot of the bonus content will center around The Undertaker, who officially retired at the Survivor Series event in 2020 following a 30-year tenure in the WWE.
The Undertaker Immortal Pack will contain three new additional attires for The Deadman, including the Phantom Mask that he wore in 1995, the Lord of Darkness-era attire from 1998/1999, and the Boneyard Match attire from his final WWE match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 35.
In addition to the attires, The Undertaker Immortal Pack also includes MyFACTION EVO cards, as well as MyFACTION Perks and Bonuses.
Deluxe Edition buyers will receive The Undertaker Immortal Pack and the Season Pass, which will include multiple DLC packs of extra wrestlers that will be released at a later date.
There also appears to be a collectors edition titled the nWo 4-Life edition, which makes sense as the nWo was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. It is unclear what this edition will feature, but it is possible that it will add nWo style attires for characters such as Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman.

WWE 2K22 will be released on March 11th, with three days of early access on March 8th for Deluxe and nWo 4-Life edition buyers.
