Sony confirms the addition of the adventures of Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer is set to hit PC through Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

Despite being a forgotten possibility back in September 2021, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is finally hitting our PCs. According to the previous post from the PlayStation Blog, the game was originally set to be released together with the PlayStation 5 version.

Differences of the PS5 and the PC version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

According to a recent post from PlayStation Blog, “This version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is optimized for PC with PC-centric quality-of-life enhancements such as reimagined UI, scale sliders, GPU and VRAM detection, Variable Load Speed, and so much more.” Players can even make adjustments according to their preferences. From Anisotropic Filtering, Shadows, Reflections, and Ambient Occlusion, and Texture and Model Quality, as long as your devices can handle it, changes can be made.

The game also boasts a more immersive gameplay experience for fans of the Uncharted franchise as the storytelling and breathtaking visuals of the game take on super-sharp true 4K resolutions. The game has always been known for its picturesque settings. This time, everyone with the right equipment will get to delve into the deep green jungle, unravel the secrets of the marsh and swamplands, and road trip to mountaintops. These and more are seen through Ultra-Wide Monitor support.

Controller support, pricing, and release date

Sic parvis magna! Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection players using their PC can also enjoy the game with a DualSense controller using a wired controller attached to their PC. Players can use DualShock 4 USB wireless adaptor or a compatible micro-USB cable to connect to their PC if using a controller is their preferred method to dive into the game. The game supports a variety of other gamepads and casual keyboard and mouse players.

According to Sony, the game will be released on October 19, 2022. This means that the actual release is more than a year that the first announcement paid for the game on PC. The game was first released on PlayStation 5 back in late January of 2022.

The game can be pre-ordered on Steam and Epic Games Store for $49.99/€49.99. Those who purchase the game through Epic Games also get an in-game glider for their Fortnite account. The glider is called Sully’s “New” Seaplane.
