Tower of Fantasy Special Operation: Everything you need to know

With the Version 2.0 Vera update nearing, the Special Operation event is giving players the chance to increase their Combat Strength. The Special Operation event will require the Wanderer to spend vitality points but promises an increase in the drop rate of all the items that can be used to increase their Combat Strength.

Updates in the Special Operation of Tower of Fantasy will increase the drop rate of items in the Dimensional Trials and Joint Operation.

Make sure to check the Rewards menu instead of the Adventure menu to have the increased drop rate, as the buff does not apply in the Challenges tab. The event will run from October 13, 11:00, until October 20, 11:00 (Server time).

Special Operation: Joint Operation

The Joint Operation will still require 90 vitality points. If the player decides to use a Joint Supply chip, the buff will still take effect even with the increased drop rate because of the Special Operation event. The event will grant the players a buff, increasing their chances of getting higher-grade items and weapons. The buff can be used for a limited time after the player enters the challenge.

According to the special announcement in this section of the event: “In any instance of the daily Joint Operation, the first three openings of the box offer the buff of getting weapons at purple grade and above as well as doubled chance of getting Matrices. This buff can be stacked with the Joint Supply chip I. After staking, the boxes offer the buff of getting weapons at purple grade and above as well as the tripled chance of getting Matrices. At 5:00 each day, the number of buffs is reset to three times.”

Take note that the Joint Operation has different rewards depending on your chosen area. The available areas depend on the day of the week. Below are the locations available depending on the day of the week:

Special Operation: Dimensional Trials

The Dimensional Trials will require 30 vitality points. There are no items that a player can use to increase the probability of getting a rare item or weapon before entering this challenge. However, the Special Operation buff will still apply for this challenge.

According to the announcement in this section of the event: “The first 2 Dimensional Trials attempts enjoy a buff that doubles the drop rate of matrix EXP, weapon augmentation material box, and weapon EXP. Reset at 5:00 every day.” This means that a player can go through the challenge at least twice daily before the buff expires. The Dimensional Trials will reward the player with any random chance of getting Nano coating, acidproof glaze, booster frame, or nanofiber frame. 

Take note that the Dimensional Trial is divided into varying difficulties. The higher the difficulty, the more rewards a player can get after the challenge. Here are the rewards that a player can get depending on the difficulty of the challenge that is accepted:
