The King of Fighters XV Fifth Character Trailer Shows Off Joe Higashi

SNK revealed today, a new character trailer for The King of Fighters XV, this time starting ”The Young Champ of Muay Thai” Joe Higashi. Check it out below:
Together with the new trailer, the company also revealed a few screenshots:
The character is the fifth in a series the trailers presenting those present in the game, which already featured the game’s new protagonist Shun’ei, his team members, Meitenkun, and ”The Shooting Star” Benimaru Nikaido, and Kyo‘s eternal rival Iori Yagami.

Higashi is one of the oldest characters in the SNK’s history, as he made his first in-game appearance as one of the three protagonists of Fatal Fury: King of Fighters, a title released in 1991, that started the Fatal Fury series and eventually, The King of Fighters franchise.
The King of Fighters XV was announced last year, but received its first official trailer last month, since then, SNK has released weekly updates on the title, which has its release date scheduled for this year.
