Tekken 7: New Character Lidia Sobieska Officially Revealed

Today, after having been teased in the past, Tekken 7’s new character, and the current in-game prime minister of Poland, Lidia Sobieska, was revealed officially, with a gameplay trailer that is sure to make her a fan favorite.

The trailer shows her fighting against many of the Tekken characters in fierce battles. And also counts with a sequel of her teaser trailer, showing a little more about her personality.

Lidia will be the second character to join the game’s fourth season pass, after Kumitsu, iwho was released in the fall of 2020, and will be released worldwide on March 23, together with a new and sunny stage ”Island Paradise”, featuring everybody’s favorite CEO, Lee Chaolan in the background.

She seems to be able to switch stances with ease and control the flow of the battle, with high damaging combos and heavy hits.

After the #Tekken? Force arrived into parts of Poland, the Polish citizens cried out for a stronger leader and Lidia answered that call! Players can also look forward to battles under the sunshine and palm trees with the new Island Paradise stage! Are you ready for the next battle?

Tekken 7 was first released in 2015, and since then received a steady amount of expansions and gameplay additions, becoming one of the world’s top esports titles.

The game is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, – PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, via backward compatibility – and PC, via Steam. Lidia will be the game’s 18th DLC.
