The next entry in the Tales series, Tales of Arise, will be receiving a new free Demo. Bandai Namco made the announcement through the game’s official Twitter account.

The game focus on the story of the planet Dahna, where people are being forced into slavery by their not-so-friendly neighbor planet Rena. We follow their fight for freedom alongside the heroes Alphen, Shionne, Law, and many others.

When will the demo for Tales of Arise be available?

The Demo will be available next week, on August 17, exclusively for the consoles Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One and Series X/S. The demo will be available for free.

While the game will also be available on Steam, no announcements were made for a PC demo. Seeing that Scarlet Nexus got the same treatment from Bandai, we shouldn’t expect that they’ll change their minds.

Tales of Arise will be the first game of the “Tales of” series in the newest generation. The previous title, Tales of Berseria, was praised for giving some fresh air into the series and how it could handle its dark themes in a mature way.

While the game received some censorship in their localization, the game’s English dub was very well received, with some highlights being given to Cristina Vee, VA of the main character Velvet and a veteran on game dubs.
