Tales of Arise Release Date Announced, New Trailer, and Much More Revealed

Today, ”Tales of” fans had a great surprise, since Bandai Namco revealed a new trailer and 8 new minutes of gameplay of the franchise’s newest title, Tales of Arise.

The trailer, which you can check out below, in both English, courtesy of IGN, and Japanese, courtesy of Famitsu, features not only more about the title’s two main characters, Alphen, and Shionne, but also features its worldwide release date, the reveal of two new playable characters, and much more.

Those that buy the game for the PS4, or the Xbox One consoles will be able to upgrade to the PS5. Xbox Series X/S for free. The PS5, Xbox Series X/S version will both feature 2 modes, a performance, and a 4K one.

The game will also make use of the DualSense’s haptic feedback feature.

Studio Ufotable, responsible for the anime scenes in the franchise’s latest installments, and the groundbreaking successes, Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/Zero, and Demon Slayer, will be in charge of its anime scenes.

A New Gameplay

A new 8 minutes gameplay video, showing more about the game’s combat, and exploration was also revealed. On it, we can see the gameplay of Alphen, Shionne, and the new character Rinwell, which will take the role of mage.

As we can see above, the game will have a fluid combat system that also preserves the series DNA and a huge inclination in exploration.
