The annual Steam Summer Sale is once again approaching. Along with the Winter Sale, the Summer Sale is one of the best moments to fill your Library with those titles that have been waiting on your wishlist for a long time.

The sale presents the best discounts and deals Valve can offer, with many of the more than 50,000 titles having their price decreased from 10% to even 90%. Older titles obviously receive the biggest offers, but it’s not rare to see newer games also added into the bunch, making June one of the best months to get some of them.

This year’s sale was announced previously by Steam through their Youtube channel, previewing some of the games that will receive some discounts, including big names such as God of War, Monster Hunter Rise, V Rising, Total War: Warhammer III and Ghostwire: Tokyo.

The video also teases the new quests available through the Sale, in which users can get exclusive badges and items which won’t be available anymore in the future. One may use them for bragging rights or keep them to sell later, as they can get expensive as time passes.

When is the Steam Summer Sale starting?

The Summer Sale begins June 23rd at 10 am PT, lasting two weeks until it ends on July 7th at 10 am PT

Unfortunately, 90% is the maximum discount you’ll see on any game regardless of whether it is new or old. The new Discount Rules announced back in February have made 95% off not a possibility anymore. This doesn’t mean we won’t see any great deals in this sale, as this is one of Steam’s highest selling periods.

No other games have been confirmed to be on sale, but chances are that more than half of your wishlist will see some offers. Prepare your wallet, as it will be here in just two more days.
