SKATE 4 Announced By EA’s New Studio Full Circle

Yes, it is finally happening, SKATE 4 is officially in development!

After being revealed last year as existing, EA has now officially announced the game and that it will be developed by EA’s brand new studio, Full Circle Studio.

Full Circle Studio will join EA Sports and Respawn Entertainment as the third development studio in Vancouver.

Despite being based in Vancouver, developers will be based at various other EA offices across the US.

The new team will be lead by the former Head of Xbox Live Daniel McCullock, along with Deran Chung and Cuz Perry, who both played major roles in the development of the previous SKATE games.

Full Circle Studio is also hiring for various positions to help develop the first new SKATE title since 2010.

As of yet there are no official details on the game. It will probably be a while before we get to see a trailer or gameplay, but at least we have 100% confirmation that it is in development.

Its strange to see a sudden revival in skateboarding games, with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered releasing in 2020, but we are all for it.
