Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne Remaster is coming to PC

Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD Remaster

Fans of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise now have one more reason to celebrate!

It was revealed, on SEGA’s official Youtube channel, that Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD Remaster, an enhanced version of the acclaimed title, will be coming to PC, via Steam. 

This will be the first time any version of the title is released on the platform.

Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD Remaster will bring remastered 3D models and backgrounds, new difficulty settings, a new suspend save feature, both Japanese and English audio, and a new alternative branch featuring Raidou Kuzunoha, from the Devil Summoner series.

Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne was originally released back in 2003, for the PlayStation 2. The title since then became a mark for the franchise and RPGs in general. for its lore, immersion, and punishing difficulty.

In the game, players take the role of a student who is caught in the middle of the apocalypse. Where he will become the key to destruction or salvation.

”What begins as a normal day in Tokyo turns out to be everything but, when the Conception – an ethereal apocalypse – is invoked. The remains of the world are swallowed by chaos, as a demonic revolution descends into a broken city. The game will also feature Dante, from the Devil May Cry Series, as a DLC, and part of its ”Maniax Pack”.

Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne HD Remaster will be released globally for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and now Steam, on May 25.
