Resident Evil RE: Verse updates and Battle Pass announced
The Resident Evil Showcase event gave fans a better insight into the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake and what to expect from the Resident Evil Village Winters’ Expansion that launches on October 28th.
One Resident Evil title that is often forgotten about because it has been delayed by 17 months is RE: Verse, the deathmatch-style multiplayer game.
With RE: Verse launching alongside the Winters’ Expansion, Capcom has shared some news details about what to expect from the game.
RE: Verse will have a Battle Pass
One of the more surprising pieces of news is that Resident Evil RE: Verse will include a Battle Pass, which will give players new cosmetics and items that can be unlocked by playing the game.
It isn’t clear whether this will be a paid Battle Pass or whether it will be given to players for free.

When you can play RE: Verse
Resident Evil RE: Verse will launch for all players on October 28th alongside the Winters’ Expansion. But, players will get a chance to enjoy the game in early access prior to its release.
The game will be available to play for two days between October 23rd, 7 pm PDT/October 24th, 3 am BST, and October 25th, 11 pm PDT/October 26th, 7 am BST.
Once the early access period ends, the game will lock until October 28th, when it becomes playable again.
Resident Evil Village is available now on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. RE: Verse will become available for all owners of Village on October 28th, 2022.
