The larger file size for Resident Evil 8 can be attributed to the fact that it is optimized for the new generation of consoles, with higher quality textures and assets.

Additionally, according to rumors, Resident Evil Village will have more of a focus on exploration, which would mean more content in general as compared to RE 7.

The file size for Resident Evil Re:Verse has also been revealed on the Microsoft Store. Clocking in at approximately 15 GB, the multiplayer mode will be free to all purchasers of any edition of Resident Evil Village.

The upcoming chapter in the iconic horror series is a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7, set a few years after the events of its predecessor.
