Below are the free games that PS Plus subscribers can download this month:

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the latest entry in the long-running Yakuza series from Sega, and its availability through PS Plus is good news for subscribers who have waited for the addition of the series to the paid service. Now, the video game can be downloaded for free as both a native PS4 and PS5 game.

The addition of Yakuza: Like a Dragon marks the beginning of the full Yakuza series’ availability through PS Plus. In fact, Sony has already announced that the full series will arrive to the paid service before the year ends. It is important to note, however, that access to the other games will require the pricier subscription tiers, specifically the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions.

Also coming to PS Plus this month is Activision’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. This is actually a collection of the remastered versions of two of “the most iconic skateboarding games ever made.” As its name clearly suggests, this will allow subscribers to play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater & Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 will also be available as a native game for the PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Little Nightmares

Lastly, subscribers can immerse themselves in “a dark whimsical tale” in Bandai Namco’s Little Nightmares. In this side-scrolling horror game, players will have to play as Six and try to escape The Maw, a vessel inhabited by corrupted souls.

Currently, the game is only available for download as a PS4 game.

Another set of free games will arrive next month, but August 2022 will surely be filled with fun and adventure. What do you think of this set of free games?
