Pokemon Go Zorua debut failed as it is removed from the game
To the complete surprise of Pokemon Go players, a new Pokemon entered gameplay today. But as the Zorua debut took the internet by storm, the thrill didn’t last long, as Zorua was removed as fast as it arrived.
As players around the globe enter the Shuppet Spotlight Hour, the surprise visitor began appearing in the wild, under a very unique disguise. However, Zorua was promptly removed, preventing players from catching the Pokemon or transferring any existing Zorua to Pokemon Home, or using the Pokemon in the GO Battle League.

Zorua debut – what went wrong?
Niantic decided to do something a little different for fans during the Shuppet Spotlight hour on October 25th, 2022, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
While participating during Spotlight hour, players could see a duplicate of their Buddy, provided they had one active during the day. The duplicate would then transform in a similar way to a Ditto, but instead of a Ditto, players would encounter a Zorua.
