Nintendo Switch Pro price leaks spotted online

We think we’re all at that stage of the rumours now where it would be a welcome end to speculation if Nintendo announced the Switch Pro. However, have you ever wondered what kind of price we might be paying for the Switch Pro? It is, after all, a beefier version than the current Nitnendo hybrid console.

Recently, the new console has been spotted in the online database for a French retailer and it’s our first real look at what price we might be paying for the device.

Switch Pro Price Leaks

According to Nintend’Alerts, a French source, French retailer Boulanger is listing the Nintendo Switch Pro at €399. This equated to around £340, which is at least £60 more than the Nintendo Switch at RRP. We could see the console cost as much as £399, however. It isn’t uncommon for items to cost a little more in the UK.

What makes this all interesting is that Nintendo has made it clear that we will only be seeing Nintendo Switch software during their E3 2021 Nintendo Direct and Nintendo Treehouse Live. This means we could actually see the Nintendo Switch Pro unveiled before E3 2021, as rumours suggest.

This would be an interesting move but it would allow Nintendo to showcase “Pro Switch Games” at E3 2021. So… It isn’t outside of the realms of possibility. With E3 2021 due to start next week, we could see a Nintendo Switch Pro reveal literally any day now.
