NieR Replicant PS4 Gameplay Revealed

Sony revealed today, on PlayStation’s official Youtube channel, a new 9 minutes gameplay footage of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, the upcoming remake of the acclaimed NieR Replicant, an and prequel to NieR: Automata. The Remake will feature new graphics, mechanics, and much more.

Check out below, as we follow the Protagonist as he faces the trials of the Barren Temple.

NieR Replicant was first released exclusively in Japan in two different versions, the remake will count with his Sony Version. Square Enix describes the game as such:

The protagonist is a kind young man living in a remote village. In order to save his sister Yonah, who fell terminally ill to the Black Scrawl, he sets out with Grimoire Weiss, a strange talking tome, to search for the “Sealed verses.”

In a distant, distant future, humanity is on the brink of extinction.

A black scrawl disease and strange beasts threaten the world.

A young kindhearted boy makes a promise to his little sister.

A thousand-year lie that would live on for eternity…’‘

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will be released on Abril 23, 2021, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs, in two different versions, its normal (digital and physical) version and the collector’s White Snow Edition, with will feature an exclusive Grimore Pin Set, the game’s soundtrack, a collector’s box, a Steelbook case, and a 7 piece Script Set.

The game will also be available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S through backwards compatibility.
