New Bethesda Games Get The FPS Boost Treatment on Xbox

Some Bethesda games are getting an FPS boost! After the Xbox acquisition of Bethesda Softworks and their supported studios, Xbox has now revealed new games coming to Game Pass, but now we know that many of these games will get an FPS boost of up to 60 FPS.

Skyrim, perhaps one of the most popular games of all time, is looking to get an FPS boost for Xbox Series X|S and will soon be playable at 60 frames per second on next-gen Xbox consoles.

According to Wikipedia: “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.”

Fallout 4

Fallout 4 is another Bethesda game that is set to hike its frame rate up by double its previous frame rate after nearly 6 years on the market.

According to Wikipedia: “Fallout 4 is an action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fourth main game in the Fallout series and was released worldwide on November 10, 2015, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.”

Fallout 76

Alongside Fallout 4, the infamous Fallout 76 will also receive an increase in frames per second for next-generation Xbox consoles including the Xbox Series X and Series S.

According to Wikipedia: “Fallout 76 is an online action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 14, 2018, it is an installment in the Fallout series and a prequel to previous entries.”

Dishonored

After the sequel, Dishonored 2, was released, the original Dishonored is now on Game Pass and is receiving the FPS Boost treatment for Xbox Series X and Series S.

According to Wikipedia: “Dishonored is a 2012 action-adventure game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Set in the fictional, plague-ridden industrial city of Dunwall, Dishonored follows the story of Corvo Attano, bodyguard to the Empress of the Isles.”

Prey

Prey was a fairly popular reboot of the original game of the same name. Now, it looks like you’ll be able to play Prey in some sweet 60 FPS glory.

According to Wikipedia: “Prey is a first-person shooter video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was released worldwide on 5 May 2017, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.”

It is currently unknown when these games will be upgraded and have their frame rates launched, but we can’t imagine it will be too long before we see these improvements.
