Obsidian announced today on Twitter that the second and final DLC for their short n’ sweet pulp sci-fi RPG is in development and will be called The Outer Worlds: Murder in Eridanos.

The Outer Worlds: Murder in Eridanos gives us access to the previously locked titular planet to investigate the murder of Ruth Bellamy, the spokesperson of Spectrum Vodka.

The trailer is structured similarly to a 1950’s crime show where Bellamy gives us a brief monologue describing some of the plot we can expect before what we assume is her foul murder.

Some fans were divided over the previous DLC Peril on Gorgon. Since once you completed the game you couldn’t go back and explore any planets post-story, players would have to load a save that had yet to complete the game in order to access the DLC.

No confirmation on whether or not that will be the case for Murder in Eridanos.
