Moo Lander: Galactic Mooball competition with merch and Steam gift cards

Moo Lander Gamescom Event 2021 title

Last Updated on: 26th August 2021, 10:06 pm

Moo Lander is holding a short term competition to celebrate Gamescom this year – with Galactic Mooball now available for a few days.

And if cow versus alien spacecraft football isn’t enough for you, don’t worry, because Sixth Hammer also threw in some prizes for those who perform the best during the event.

Mooball competition available now in Moo Lander

To take part in the Galactic Mooball event on Moo Lander, you’ll want to head to the steam page here and grab a copy of the demo. Just enter Multiplayer from the main menu and select the “Galactic Mooball” option from there, then go out and have fun.

The new game mode that the competition will be for is, in short, a game of Football (Soccer), with the minor difference of being played by cows and flying spaceships. So nothing too different from usual. The competition will run from the 25th of August until the end of the 29th of August.

Every goal scored will be added to leaderboards available here, if you’d like to check out who’s currently in the lead and how you’re measuring up.

The Prizes

Obviously, any competition needs some kind of Prize, and this competition in Moo Lander is no different.

Players will receive rewards for placing in the top five slots of the leaderboard. First, all 5 winners will get a key to allow access for the Extended Demo to allow them to continue playing Galactic Mooball, as well as any future multiplayer modes after the competition ends.

And if that’s not enough for any Moo Lander Enthusiasts, there are also some more material incentives available.

  • 1st place – A speical Moo Lander T-shirt, + 25 Euro Steam Gift Card
  • 2nd place – 25 Euro Steam gift card
  • 3rd place – 10 Euro Steam gift card
  • 4th & 5th place – 5 Euro Steam gift card

Anything else to know?

Not much else to be aware of for this one, no. It’s a fairly simple competition for a fun game demo, and comes with prizes.

If you’re interested in Moo Lander I did also write a first impressions piece of the game back during E3, which you’re free to go give a look if you don’t have the time to really take the demo for a spin yourself.

With all of that out of the way, if you’d like more gaming news you can find it on The Click right here, and more by me is available here.
