Infinity Ward confirmed in a recent Twitter post that they have been made aware of concerns regarding the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta.

The post also confirmed that actions are being taken to ensure the cause of the crashes are fixed. The tweet states that the concerns are mainly regarding Xbox consoles. The post also had comments on how to possibly fix the ongoing issues with the compatibility of the console to Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta.

However, further comments indicate that it does not just seem to be happening to the Xbox console users, but also the PC users. Various comments from PC users can be seen on the post asking Infinity Ward to include them in the attempts to find a resolution.

Modern Warfare 2 crashes also reported by PC users

Some of the comments coming from the PC users of the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta claim that most of the crashes happen when they attempt to check the game’s menu. There are also comments about the game crashing when they attempt to change their class or when they try to join a party.

The same account of Infinity Ward also retweeted a solution for players in case they are having issues with the phone activation issues on Steam. This got a bit of a negative response, as players feel that the security for this feels too stringent for a beta game.

Another possible fix found by players was posted by PowerGPU which required players to download software. Some players say this fixed the concern, while other PC users say the same concern happens even after completing the same steps that were provided.

A further solution was offered by BeenoxCODPC, asking players to relaunch the game manually. “If the game requires a reboot, just make sure to relaunch manually.” The comments of this post also included more possible fixes for various issues players may be encountering, including concerns with the creation of an ATVI account.

Many comments did indicate that after researching and checking various posts, they were able to get a proper fix for their issues.
