A new video released by Bandai Namco confirms the return of Marshall Law in Tekken 8, and the Tekken veteran is now more Bruce Lee than ever!

Tekken 8 Marshall Law trailer shows off iconic Bruce Lee moves

The gameplay trailer released by Bandai Namco shows off Marshall Law’s move set and some familiar Bruce Lee mannerisms as he fights against Paul Phoenix, who was also revealed last week. With his nose flicking, finger-pointing, and high-pitched fighting noises, the Bruce Lee-inspired fighter can be seen using his nunchucks in battle!

Among several familiar moves, Marshall Law hits Paul with his signature somersault kicks. However, the highlight of the trailer is his Rage Art, as it appears to have recreated Bruce Lee’s stomp in the 1973 action film Enter the Dragon.

Marshall Law is one of the original characters in the Tekken series. Appearing in the first Tekken game, he has returned in other Tekken titles except for Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament, where his son, Forest Law, took over.

As of writing, Forest Law hasn’t been officially announced to make a comeback. However, this might be unlikely, considering that the father and son are both inspired by Bruce Lee, thus sharing the same fighting style and a mostly similar move set.

Tekken 8 is an upcoming fighting game from the Tekken franchise. It is currently in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
