Lost Judgment announced to be arriving worldwide in September

Lost Judgment announcement

Sega’s Judgment Day event has officially announced the release of Lost Judgment, the sequel to Judgment, which will be releasing on September 24 worldwide.

Similar to the 2018 action-adventure hit Judgment, Lost Judgment will once again follow Takayuki Yagami, a former defense attorney and current private detective, and his ex-Yakuza partner Masaharu Kaito, in investigating a murder that is seemingly impossible to solve.

The main suspect of the murder turns out to have been convicted for another crime at the exact same time that the corpse was killed, meaning that Lost Judgment will certainly involve some interesting discoveries and detective work.

The original Judgment game had a similar action combat system to the original Yakuza titles, so those who have played any Yakuza titles before will be excited that the fighting system is here to stay in future Judgment titles. Yagami will have multiple fighting styles, including “Crane”, “Tiger”, and “Snake”, a new style that allows you to use enemies’ attacks against them.

You will also be able to explore the city of Kamurocho, as well as a new city added to the game, Yokohama. This is similar to previous Yakuza titles that allowed the player to explore all of Kamurocho, Sotenbori, and more.

The release date for Lost Judgment applies to next-gen and previous-gen consoles, meaning you will be able to pick up the game on either PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, or Xbox One. Currently, there is no announcement for the title coming to PC unfortunately, and most likely won’t happen for a while.
