The Cleaners will be once again Back 4 Blood during this week’s Open Beta. After the initial success of last week’s Beta, the game will now be available for everyone to test during a few days, where players can enjoy mindlessly killing a lot of zombies.

The successor to the Left 4 Dead series has received a lot of praise after the first Beta, in which people would get access by pre-ordering the game or by getting a key through Twitch Drops.

The Beta will be open from August 12 to August 16, and there’s no restriction to play it. Being free to play this time, we can expect even more people playing the game, which already received a huge number of players.

How to participate in the Back 4 Blood Open Beta?

To participate in this new beta, you just need to visit the official Beta page and choose your desired platform after the Beta officially starts. After that, you will be able to download the game and enjoy the zombie cleansing.

The beta will be happening on all platforms, and crossplay is already featured, so you can play with your console friends while on PC. More information can be found on the Back 4 Blood Open Beta Official FAQ.

The game received almost 100,000 concurrent players on Steam alone during the first Open Beta and had a peak of 432,868 viewers on Twitch on the Beta’s first day.

Alongside the successful numbers, the game also received some controversy recently when people reportedly heard zombies shouting racial slurs. Warner Bros Games acknowledged the problem and gave the following response:

Our team has been made aware of offensive language that can be heard when playing the game. This was not recorded or ever intended to be part of our gameplay. The audio is a result of two different Ridden growls that are playing simultaneously and when heard together sound like that word. We are working diligently to fix this issue, which should be completed either in time for the Beta or when the game launches.

Back 4 Blood will be free to play during the open beta from August 12 to August 16, being fully released on October 12 for Steam, Epic Games Store, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One and Series X/S. Notably, it will be available on the Xbox Game Pass on the same day.
