House of the Dead Remake was released on the Nintendo Switch earlier this month, and now an official release date has been given for the console and PC versions of the game, and it is right around the corner.

The game was first announced in early 2021 as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, but more versions were revealed later on. Originally, House of the Dead Remake was scheduled to be released in late-2021 but it was ultimately delayed until April 2022.

Alongside the already released Nintendo Switch version, House of the Dead Remake will also be coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and GOG, and Google Stadia. It is also worth noting that the game will be playable on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility.

MegaPixel Studio and Forever Entertainment have officially revealed that House of the Dead Remake will be released next week on April 28.

Fans of the original game and series are in luck, as players will see the classic 1997 arcade game remade with modern graphics and controls, including gyro aiming.

The game will also feature local multiplayer, multiple endings, photo mode, and achievements, as well as other modes such as a Horde mode.

It has also been revealed that the game will retail for $24.99, meaning it will be a value release, which does make sense as the game is fairly short. But for fans of arcade light gun shooters, this is a must-play game as it has been quite a while since a major light gun style game has been released.
