Hogwarts Legacy State of Play event announced

Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most highly anticipated games that is set to release over the coming year or so.

The game was originally scheduled to be released in 2021 but it was ultimately delayed indefinitely and as of right now there is no official release date set.

But, that could be set to change as Hogwarts Legacy is set to receive its own Sony State of Play presentation which will show off new gameplay and give fans lots of new information.

In a blog post, Sony and Warner Bros announced the presentation which will take place on Thursday, March 17th at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET/10 pm CET.

“The show will run for about 20 minutes, featuring over 14 minutes of Hogwarts Legacy gameplay captured on PS5, and concluding with some insight from a few members of the team at Avalanche Software who are bringing the Wizarding World to life.”

While the post doesn’t specifically mention a release date, it would be unusual for a presentation just to show off some gameplay without giving any other news, so it is likely that a release date will be announced or at least a release window.
