‘Gotham Knights’ new skin revealed, developers insist it will not include Batman

Gotham Knights Suits Reveal

Batman Arkham Videos just dropped a video revealing 28 new skins for Gotham Knights. The game is set in a time when Batman is no longer alive. This has been mentioned in the video, and the game developers have, on multiple occasions, confirmed that this is the case.

Gotham Knights offers an upstanding line of playable characters from the Batman family, like Red Hood, Batgirl, Robin, and Night Wing. The game’s plot focuses on their investigation of the events in the Court of Owls in Gotham City.

Executive Producer, Fleur Marty, explained that “…anywhere he (Batman) is, he just takes up all of the space, he takes all of the air out of the room, and so it was so much more interesting to start afresh without him”.

The video also provided information about what players can expect with the skins, like how gears affect the characters’ stats and how Suitstyles are not just cosmetics but serves as a stat boost. Players can customize their characters, from cowls, gauntlets, boots, and even their logos.

The launch plans to start with 11 different Suitstyle Sets to unlock, and with 4 playable characters, the game is set to start with a total of 44 individual suits. The styles of the suits vary from the classic look of the characters to their modern and edgier look, depending on the players’ customization.

The game is set in an open-world Gotham City with RPG elements that would allow the players to either do a solo play or team up with other heroes to solve mysteries and put criminals to justice. The battle system is set from a third-person perspective. While the game revolves around DC’s Batman universe, the developers confirmed that it will not follow the storyline of Batman: Arkham games.
