Fortnite X Alien Coming Soon: Xenomorph and Ellen Ripley Skins?
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has been a season of collaborations, and with the end of the season round the corner, it seems that Epic Games still has time to squeeze one or two more in.
The official Twitter account for the battle royale game just hinted that Fortnite is getting an Alien franchise crossover.
The tweet was captioned “Incoming Transmission – Reality Log 426, Target Description: Warrant Officer”.
Fans of the Alien franchise will recognise that “Warrant Officer” is the official designation of Sigourney Weaver’s character “Ellen Ripley”.

While it has not been confirmed officially, it is very likely that the incoming crossover skins will be Ellen Ripley herself, as well as the iconic Xenomorph.
With the potential addition of the Xenomorph, the Alien vs. Predator crossover will become a reality within the Fortnite Universe. That’s a crossover within a crossover. Yes, its getting out of hand. Yes, we love to see it.
According to Fortnite News (Sentinel Central on Twitter), the Alien collaboration portal Kepler is now open in-game. HYPEX scoured through the game’s data to find video of the footage used in the portal, and it definitely does seem to fit the Alien aesthetic.
According to CBR, info from the game’s files has indicated that a new skin classified as an extra-large cosmetic with a distinct animation would be added soon. This could indicate the addition of a possible boss-centric game mode (similar to the Predator one from a few weeks ago).

However, given that the cosmetic is supposed to be extra-large, we might be looking at a possible repeat of the Thanos situation here, with a single player controlling the extra-large character.
It could also be, in a cruel twist of fate, something else entirely. We hope not, but you never know what you never know.
