Dr Disrespect knows why he was banned from Twitch and is suing them

Dr Disrespect

Dr Disrespect was famously banned from Twitch in June 2020 in a very unexpected move by the streaming platform.

The Doc had long been a streamer on the platform, even signing a seven-figure deal shortly prior to the ban being issued.

Fans of the popular streamer spent many weeks speculating as to why he was banned, and many rumors popped up on social media, but none of them were ever substantiated.

Finally, Dr Disrespect made a return to the internet, announcing that he was now going to stream exclusively on YouTube, a partnership that is still ongoing today.

Now, the Doc revealed on stream that he knows why he was banned from Twitch and that he is set to sue the company for damages, which will likely be in the millions of dollars.

“I can’t talk about it. But a lot of people ask me “Do you know the reason?”, yeah I do know the reason why now. I’ve known for month now, the reason why. And I’ll just say this right now champs, there’s a reason why we’re suing the f**k out of them. I don’t know how else to put it. The amount of damages and, you just don’t…”

Dr Disrespect abruptly ended his explanation, likely due to not being able to discuss it for legal reasons, but it sounds like the lawsuit may have already begun so there is a good chance that at least some details will be made public in the near future.
