Disco Elysium is an RPG about an amnesiac detective who has to piece together his identity while also solving a murder in the fictional dystopic city, Revachol.

Whereas most RPGs have you build a character that can combat enemies and other mechanical challenges, Disco Elysium asks you to build a human being from scratch.

Your attributes don’t dictate things such as mana or hit points but instead dictate how well-read or even-tempered your character is. The vast number of stat and skill combinations can lead to many different ways to interact with the world.

An average play through of the game can run about 20-30 hours if you focus on the main quest.

Side quests are substantial enough to easily double that play time. With the new content being introduced, play time can easily grow for fans and new players.

The inclusion of voice acting adds a new layer of immersion for anyone who’s enjoyed Disco Elysium’s fantastic writing, as it only had limited acting for most characters.

As such, returning players can expect a new dimension to some of their favorite characters, as you can now hear any favorite lines fully voiced.
