Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan Receives New Images and Much More

Developer CyberConnect 2 and publisher Aniplex revealed, through the game’s official Twitter page, new images, and details about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan, based on the acclaimed manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, where it was revealed that the title will be released in 2021, for the PlayStation 4PlayStation 5Xbox One XXbox Series X/S, and PCs, through Steam.  

It was also revealed, on the game’s official site, that the title will cover the story showed in the first season of the anime, it wasn’t revealed its first movie will also be covered. The game will also have a 2v2 mode, which will playable both online and locally.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba began its serialization on Shonen Jump, in February 2015 and ended on its 205th chapter, with was released on May 17 of last year. Viz Media has the rights to its publication in North America, and describes the series as such: 

”In Taisho-era Japan, Tanjiro Kamado is a kindhearted boy who makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life.”

You can read the manga’s officially through Viz Media‘s official site, or Manga Plus, and watch the first season of its anime adaptation on Crunchyroll. Its movie, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train, was released in Japan in October of last year and will be released in the USA later this year.
