In the gameplay, which you can see below, courtesy of PS360HD2, on Youtube, we can see the characters battle, showcasing the game’s arena-style gameplay and its amazing visuals, inspired by the manga’s anime adaptation, produced by Ufotable.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba started its serialization in 2016 and ended last year with the release of its 205th chapter. The second season of its anime adaptation, produced by Studio Ufotable, will be released later this year and will follow the story after its latest movie, which premiered in October of last year in Japan, and is already available in the US.

The manga series is being serialized in North America by Viz Media and its anime adaptation can be watched right now on Crunchyroll.

Viz Media describes the series as:

”In Taisho-era Japan, Tanjiro Kamado is a kindhearted boy who makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life.”

Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles is being developed by CyberConnect2 and will be published by Aniplex. The game will be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 14.
