How to unlock all characters in Tekken 7

With only 36 characters in its default roster, Tekken 7 grew to have over 50 playable characters. Most of these additional characters are DLC, but there are alternative characters that can only be unlocked in special cases.

Speaking of the devil—errr, I mean, alternative characters, Devil Kazumi may have popped into your head. But while she is someone we want to try using, she is, unfortunately, an unplayable character and is not part of this list.

So, who and how do you unlock all these additional characters?

Eliza

She is the first unlockable character introduced in Tekken 7 and was initially only available to players who pre-ordered the game. This vampire, who has been imprisoned in a wing of the Rochefort Estate, has a unique playstyle and has pretty good damage. If you want to try her out, you can now purchase her from the DLC store.

Along with other Devil characters, Devil Kazuya is one of the most popular characters. But while Jin has a standalone Devil Jin character, Kazuya doesn’t. This form of Kazuya Mishima is only accessible through using his Rage Art during a match.

Violet is also not available as a standalone character. Introduced in Tekken 4, he is an alter-ego of Lee Chaolan. You only have to hover over Lee in the character selection screen and press Square or Circle on PS4 or X or B on Xbox One. Although there’s no difference to the moveset, the outfit does change.
