Warframe: How to get Ducats for Baro Ki’teer

Obtaining ducats in warframe

Ducats are a secondary currency in Warframe and are used for Baro Ki’teers visiting shop, making how to get them very useful to know.

How to get Ducats in Warframe

Ducats are available from Kiosks found in the various Relays of Warframe. They can be found in the middle of any standard Warframe Relay station. When you’ve found them, you will need to interact with the Kiosk and recycle prime parts into them to earn Ducats based on the value of the part.

If you’re not sure where to find the Kiosks, first head to a relay. When landing, you’ll be placed in an area much like this – simply head forward through the doors shown into the main area of the relay.

In the central section of the relay, the Kiosks are located on either side path leaving the middle section. If Baro is present, they will display a “Trader departing in X Time” message, as shown here. Interact with the Kiosk to reach the prime part exchange screen.

Select prime parts from Weapons or Warframes you are not interested in keeping for any reason here. Be aware that you can select actually built components of Warframes here, as shown with my “Volt Prime Systems” being visible without the word “blueprint” in the name.

Weapon parts do not have this issue, as they are always pre-built. Just remember to be cautious when recycling Warframe parts to avoid giving up a piece you were planning on using.

Each individual piece will have a set Ducat value at the time. This console has no protection for getting rid of items that would sell for a high platinum cost in player trading, so make sure to verify you aren’t selling a potential gold mine first if you’ll regret it later.

When you’ve selected the parts you are happy to part with, select the sell items prompt in the bottom right of the screen.

When confirmed, a brief pop up will appear with the total Ducat value earned on the bottom left-hand side of the screen.

You now have Ducats to spend with Baro Ki’teer, have fun. If you need more, you’ll need to use void fissure missions to gather more parts and recycle those too. Be quick if Baro is currently present though; he only stays for a maximum of 2 days.
