Tower of Fantasy PvP: How to unlock

If you want to test your might against other players in Aida, you definitely can through Tower of Fantasy PvP. The game is an MMORPG, and Hotta Studio’s inclusion of this feature isn’t much of a surprise.

Some players team up with others to explore and overcome obstacles in the game’s world. Some love to fight others to see which one is stronger.

For competition or purely for fun, we don’t know. However, we know that you must be wondering how or when you can unlock the Tower of Fantasy PvP feature.

How to unlock Tower of Fantasy PvP

While the main focus of Tower of Fantasy is PvE (Player versus Environment), you can also enjoy PvP (Player versus Player) with friends or other random players.

You can test your strength and skill against other players in two ways. These are via Open World PvP and the Apex League.

For the Open World PvP, you only need to click another player in the overworld, then click on the challenge or duel icon found at the lower part of the player’s profile. With this, the two of you can fight in Tower of Fantasy‘s overworld for others to see, provided they are in the same server and channel.

On the other hand, the Apex League requires you to reach Level 31 to unlock. In this Tower of Fantasy PvP mode, you and your random opponent are transported to a battle arena. This mode has a set of mechanics/rules. These are:

  • Matchmaking – This Tower of Fantasy PvP mode is a balanced arena. Wanderers will be matched with other players who have a similar level of base stats, weapon stats, Relic stats, and other enhancement or advancement stats.
  • Objective – Each Wanderer should aim to be the first to earn two points within 5 minutes. You can earn a point after the opponent’s HP is reduced to zero in whatever means. Therefore, you need to defeat the enemy twice.
  • Battle Setting – The fight takes place on a shrinking battlefield, and staying outside the area will trigger a debuff that continuously reduces HP.
  • Battle Conditions – Players will start with a shield. However, weapon resonance effects, Simulacrum traits, and effects of Matrices are disabled. Meanwhile, healing effects are reduced by 50%. As for the Jetboard, it is not allowed.
  • Availability – The Apex League is only available between 12:00-24:00 daily after reaching Level 31.

It is also important to note that you can obtain the Dust Wheeler, considered the rarest mount in the game, only through the Apex League. However, this is no easy feat as it requires you to reach the highest PvP rank during a season. From lowest to highest, the ranks are as follows:

  1. Private
  2. Elite
  3. Sergeant
  4. Commander
  5. Star General
  6. Battle Lord
  7. Grand Marshal

To try this Tower of Fantasy PvP mode, go to the Challenges icon (between the Log and shop icons) > Challenge > Apex League.

Tower of Fantasy is available on PC, iOS, and Android. The game is also set to arrive on gaming consoles, but no release date has been given yet.
