Tower of Fantasy: How to get the Mechbird and all vehicles in-game

Tower of Fantasy Mechbird Road to Strife

The new event, Road to Strife, introduced Wanderers to a new vehicle, the Mechbird. Here’s what you need to know about the elusive Mechbird.

Vehicles in Tower of Fantasy are also called “mounts” in other games. Calling them vehicles instead of mounts is fitting, given that the game is set in a post-apocalyptic future for humankind. These are transportation devices used by the player to traverse the giant map of the game.

With the addition of the Mechbird, there are now a total of 8 vehicles available for players in Tower of Fantasy. The Falcon is available as soon as you get to Hykros and get it from Myers. He is at the upper level of the facility. 2613 is also given as a commemorative mount for new players of the game. This can be obtained after completing Franz’s mission.

The rest of the vehicles will require the player to in-game to find the parts of the vehicles. There is a small chance that a mini-boss in-game could drop the vehicle part, although this is a rare scenario.

How to get the Mechbird and vehicle parts: Head, Torso, Legs, and Core

The Mechbird is special because it is unlike the usual vehicles that require you to grind and farm multiple monsters for a small possibility of getting a single part of the vehicle. The player is instead required to participate in the event to obtain Star Grit.

Once accumulated, the player can opt to exchange the Star Grit for the vehicle’s parts found in the Aida Black Market. You can get Star Grit by looking for the red Star Gates scattered across the map. Each successful run of the Star Gate is equivalent to 300 Star Grit. Note that the Star Gate can only be visited by the player four times a day as the maximum limit of Star Grit you can obtain a day is only 1,200.

Also, it will be challenging to put all four parts of the vehicle together; the head, the torso, the legs, and the core. All of these are worth 1000 Star Grit. It will take you at least four days to finish assembling the vehicle.
