Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Augments revealed - time to level up your gameplay with the latest spectacular additions

It’s here! The new Season is upon us, and with it see the return of an old favorite, as we explore the brand new Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Augments.

A massive hit in Chapter 4 Season 1, the Augments give players an advantage, with extra abilities, weapons, and even revealing the location of players which is a huge advantage!

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Augments – the new additions

Chapter 4 Season 2 is set to be truly Epic, with a new Japanese Style vibe to the island, and the addition of new POIs and named locations.

And returning are the Reality Augments, with some fantastic new features.

DUMPSTER DIVING

Dumpster Diving is a pretty cool new feature! Once activated, players need to hide somewhere, and upon leaving the hiding place, loot will spawn! An easy way to gain items. However, it’s worth noting that you can only use a hiding spot once to gain the free items.

TREASURE HUNTER

Treasure Hunter is just that! When you enter a POI with this Reality Augment activated, nearby chests will be revealed!

SLAP SURPLUS

This is a great method for acquiring healing items. When the Slap Surplus Augment is activated, you’ll receive a Slap Juice in every chest opened!

MUNITIONS SLIDE

Munitions Slide could be handy when that ammo is running low! Whilst sliding with the augment active, you will receive medium ammo.

MEDIUM AMMO AMP

In addition to the Munitions Slide, you could combine it with Medium Ammo Amp. Any weapons using medium ammo will see an increase in magazine size, which could be really handy in fierce combat!

SHOTGUN RECYCLE

Shotgun recycle could quickly become a favorite to all players! When using this augment, there is a chance you won’t use any ammo, saving it for when needed most!

DIGNIFIED FINISH

And last but not least, we have the new Dignified Finish. When activated, eliminations refresh a cooldown for the Kinetic Blade’s Dash Attack meaning no wait time to enable use again!
