Elden Ring: How to Complete Kenneth Haight Quest Line

Prior to Elden Ring’s Version 1.03, a bug prevented players from completing the Kenneth Haight Quest Line. The issue has since been fixed and players will finally be able to proceed with the quest.

Steps on Completing the Kenneth Haight Quest Line 

  1. Head to the Artist Shack in Limgrave. This place can be found near the Murkwater Cave and isn’t very hard to find. 
  1. Go to the bridge nearby. There, you will find Kenneth. Talk to him. 
  1. Go to Forth Haith and defeat the enemies there, specifically the Main Knight.  
  1. Talk to Kenneth again. He’ll give you the Erdsteel Dagger as a reward. Later, he’ll share that he is disappointed with Godrick’s rule and apologizes for not having the authority to raise you to knighthood. He ends the dialogue, saying: 

“But now, I must begin my search post-haste. For a true and stalwart Lord of the proper lineage to take the reigns of Limgrave.”

After this scene, players were not able to proceed with the questline because of the bug. But since the update, they can now make progress beyond this point. 

Players will now be able to find Kenneth in the Throne Room after defeating Godrick. If this isn’t the case and it bugs out again, other players have suggested that going to the Godrick Site of Grace and resting a few times for the questline to proceed will do the trick.
